Website
Build, preview and publish a website for your club using the same stacks, branding and fan accounts as your app.
Overview
The Website area lets you turn the content you already build in Mission Control into a proper club website. You lay out each page as a set of boxes, fill the boxes with stacks, pick your colours and branding, and publish. Fans can log in with the same Tiparra account they use in your app.
Go to Configuration → Website in the sidebar (the globe icon) to get started.
Websites need the Pro + Web plan ($299/month or $2,999/year). Enterprise includes everything. A few advanced controls are Enterprise-only; on other plans they show a lock icon.
Your Websites
The Website page lists your club's websites. You can have up to 5 websites, but only one can be published at a time, so you can build a new design in the background while the current one stays live. Each website shows:
- Status — Published or Draft.
- Live address — where fans find the site once it's published.
- Preview link — opens the latest draft so you can check your changes.
To start one, click New website, give it a name and, if you like, tick Copy colours from App Config so the site starts with your app's colours.
Open a website to edit it. The editor is split into tabs: Settings, Theme, Colours, Branding, Pages, Login & access, and SEO & analytics.
Settings
https://<random>.preview.tpra.app, with buttons to copy or open it. The preview always shows your draft, carries a preview ribbon so nobody mistakes it for the real site, and is hidden from search engines.<yourname>.tpra.app. Mission Control checks as you type whether the name is available. Some names are reserved and can't be used.Using your own domain
You can show the site on your club's own domain instead of (or as well as) the tpra.app address:
- Enter the domain, e.g.
www.yourclub.com. - Mission Control shows a table of DNS records. Add them at your DNS provider (where you bought or manage the domain). Usually this is a single CNAME record.
- Wait while the status moves from Waiting for DNS to Issuing certificate and then Live. DNS changes can take a while to spread; click Check now to check again straight away.
If something goes wrong the status shows Failed; double-check the records match the table exactly. Click Remove to stop using the domain.
We recommend a www. address. A bare domain (e.g. yourclub.com) only works if your DNS provider supports ALIAS or ANAME records.
Publishing
The publish card shows a pre-publish checklist of anything that needs fixing first, then:
- Publish — makes the current draft live.
- Unpublish — takes the site offline.
- Roll back to previous version — puts the last published version back if a change didn't go to plan.
- Scheduled publish Enterprise — pick a date and time for the draft to go live.
- Version history Enterprise — see earlier published versions and Restore any of them.
When you publish, the site's layout, theme, branding, menus and settings are saved as a snapshot. Changing them afterwards only affects the draft until you publish again. The content inside page boxes is live, though: they show stacks, so when you save a change to a stack it appears on the live website straight away.
Maintenance mode and deleting
Turn on Maintenance mode to show visitors a short holding message while you work on the site. You can only delete a website once it's unpublished.
Theme
Websites use the Classic theme. You can tailor the header and footer:
Header
- Sticky header — keeps the header at the top of the screen as visitors scroll.
- Login button — shows a button for fans to log in.
- Call-to-action button — a highlighted button, e.g. "Become a member", linking wherever you choose.
- Utility bar — a slim bar above the header with your sponsors and social links.
- Announcement bar — a strip for news or alerts. Click Edit announcement to change its content in the stack editor.
Footer
- Footer text, links and social links.
- Legal links — your privacy policy and terms.
- Sign-up notice — a short note shown to fans who create an account.
- Powered by Tiparra — shown in the footer. Enterprise clubs can hide it.
Colours
Set a light palette and, optionally, a dark palette. A small live preview shows your choices as you go, and you'll see a warning if text and background colours don't contrast well enough to read easily. When a dark palette is set, visitors can switch between light and dark.
- Copy from App Config — brings your app's colours into the website.
- Copy to App Config — sends the website's colours to your app. You'll be asked to confirm, because this changes your app's colours too.
Branding
Pick images from your CMS library:
- Logo, plus an optional dark logo for the dark palette.
- Favicon — the small icon in the browser tab.
- Social share image — shown when someone shares a link to your site on social media or in messaging apps.
- Site title and tagline.
Pages
A website can have up to 20 pages. Drag pages to change their order in the menu. For each page you can set:
/fixtures. Some addresses, such as login, signup and profile, are reserved for the website itself. You can also add menu-only headings to group pages in the menu, and external links to other websites. Click Edit layout on a page to open the layout editor.
Layout Editor
Each page is built from boxes, and each box shows a stack. Start with one box and split it up:
- Split a box side by side or stacked, using preset ratios: 1/2 + 1/2, 1/3 + 2/3, 2/3 + 1/3, 1/4 + 3/4, 3/4 + 1/4, thirds, or 1/4 + 1/2 + 1/4. You can then resize the split.
- Fixed height — give a box a height between 200 and 1200 px; anything taller scrolls inside the box.
- Padding and background for each box.
- Remove a box or merge boxes back together.
A page can have up to 12 boxes, nested up to 2 levels deep.
Click Edit content on a box to open the stack editor for that box (on the Content tab). When you're done, you'll come straight back to the layout editor.
Switch to Mobile view to check the order boxes appear in on phones: on screens narrower than 768 px, everything stacks into a single column. The live preview beside the editor shows the page on your preview site; click refresh to see your latest changes.
Login & Access
- Let fans log in — fans use the same Tiparra account as in your app.
- Allow sign-up — let new fans create an account on the website.
- Require login for the whole site — only logged-in fans can see any page.
SEO & Analytics
- Default description — the summary search engines show for your site.
- Hide from search engines — asks search engines not to list the site.
- Google Analytics 4 — enter your measurement ID (it starts
G-). It only loads once a visitor has given consent. - Custom head snippet Enterprise — add tracking code from approved tracking providers. Anything else is removed when you save, and you'll see a warning.
- Embeddable sections Enterprise — let other websites embed sections of your site. List the sites that are allowed, then copy the embed code.
- Custom maintenance and 404 text Enterprise — your own wording for the maintenance and "page not found" pages.
Website Analytics
The Dashboard has a Website tab showing page views, visitors, logins, sign-ups and your top pages. Session charts have a channel filter (All, App, Stack links, Website), and each fan's Activity shows a chip for the channel they used.
Smart App Banner
If your club has an app, visitors on phones see a banner offering to open it.
Changing Plans
Your site stays live for a 14-day grace period. We'll email you when it starts and again on day 10. After 14 days the site is unpublished, but nothing is deleted: your websites and pages are kept, ready for when you upgrade again.
