Communication Actions
Actions for providing contact information and external links.
Phone
The Phone action displays a clickable phone number to users. This is the simplest way to provide a direct line of contact within a stack, allowing users to initiate a phone call with a single tap.
Configuration
- Phone number — Enter the phone number you want to display. Use the full number including the country code where appropriate (e.g.
+61 2 1234 5678). The number is displayed to users and becomes a clickable link on mobile devices.
When users tap the phone number, their device will initiate a call to the specified number. On desktop browsers, users may be prompted to select a calling application.
The Email action displays a clickable email address. Users can tap the address to compose a new email using their default mail application.
Configuration
- Email address — Enter the email address you want to display (e.g.
support@example.com). The address is shown to users and becomes a clickable mailto link.
When users tap the email address, their default email client opens with a new message pre-addressed to the specified address. This provides a frictionless way for users to reach your team directly from within the app.
URL
The URL action provides a clickable link to an external webpage. Use this action to direct users to any web resource such as a website, booking page, social media profile, or online store.
Configuration
- URL — Enter the full URL of the webpage you want to link to. This must be a fully qualified URL including the protocol (e.g.
https://www.example.com). - Header image — Optionally upload a header image that appears above the link. This can be used to add visual context, such as a logo or preview of the destination page.
When users tap the action, the specified URL opens in the user's browser. The optional header image is displayed within the stack to provide visual context before the user taps through.
Always use HTTPS URLs where possible to ensure a secure browsing experience for your users.
