App Configuration

Configure your app's branding, colours, layout, content, and text strings.

Overview

App Management lets you configure the mobile application experience. Navigate to App Management in the sidebar to see a list of app configurations. Each configuration (variant) represents a distinct app build. From here you can customise every visual and textual aspect of your application.

Basic Settings

The following basic settings are available for each app configuration:

• Display Name — The name of the app as displayed to users.
• Is Active — Toggle to enable or disable this app configuration.
• Support Email — The email address shown to users for support enquiries.
• Override Font — An optional custom font name to override the default app font.
• Show Loyalty Points — Toggle to show or hide the loyalty points display in the app.

Tab Definitions

Apps have up to 5 tabs that form the main navigation. Each tab has the following properties:

• Tab Name — The label displayed below the tab icon.
• Icon — A Material Design icon name or an SVG URL from the CMS.
• Tiles Group/Stack UUID — The content identifier for the tab's tile grid.
• Carousel Group/Stack UUID — The content identifier for the tab's carousel.
• Carousel Height — A height multiplier for the tab's carousel. The default value is 1.0. Increase this to make the carousel taller or decrease it to make it shorter.

Tile Layout

Configure the tile grid appearance that controls how content tiles are presented in the app:

Tile Grid Spacing

• Tile Edge Padding — The outer padding around the tile grid, measured in pixels.
• Tile Main Axis Spacing — The vertical spacing between tile rows, measured in pixels.
• Tile Cross Axis Spacing — The horizontal spacing between tile columns, measured in pixels.

Tile Border Radius

Configure the corner rounding of stack tiles independently for each corner. The default value is 12 pixels for all corners.

• Top Left — The border radius of the top-left corner, measured in pixels.
• Top Right — The border radius of the top-right corner, measured in pixels.
• Bottom Left — The border radius of the bottom-left corner, measured in pixels.
• Bottom Right — The border radius of the bottom-right corner, measured in pixels.

Carousel Settings

• Rounded Carousel Tiles — Toggle to apply rounded corners to carousel tiles. Disabled by default.
• Top Carousel Speed — The auto-scroll interval for the top carousel, measured in seconds. Default is 5 seconds.
• Stack Carousel Speed — The auto-scroll interval for stack carousels, measured in seconds. Default is 5 seconds.

The app configuration is divided into several detailed sections. Select a section below to learn more:

Push Notification Categories

Define notification categories that users can subscribe to. Each category has the following properties:

• Key — An auto-generated, permanent identifier for the category. This value cannot be changed after creation.
• Display Name — The human-readable name shown to users in the app's notification settings screen.

Categories appear in the app's notification settings, allowing users to opt in or out of specific types of notifications.

Versioning

Each save increments the config version automatically. The updatedAt timestamp and updatedBy user are recorded with every change, providing a clear audit trail of configuration modifications.
